I’m trying to update Customer Data so that my email list can be pruned to not email people who haven’t purchased since X date. I have started a FLow and am wondering if I’m in the right direction.
Yeah you can do this, check the templates though there might already be a flow that’s near enough.
Merchant should try to use segments for this as it’s the type of thing it’s literally built for.
What do you mean by Merchant?
You’re definitely heading in the right direction using a Flow! To prune emails based on last purchase date, you’ll need a combination of customer segmentation and conditional triggers inside the Flow. It gets a bit technical depending on how your store tracks purchase dates and email subscriptions. If you want, I can show my work around for this.

Also have a look at “Customers”=>Segments
There are predefined templates to create a segment very similar to what you want.
Probably would not need Flow for this.
