Charged £520 by Smartli and not refunded

Hi guys, I know this is on the shopify site with my question but I’m not getting anywhere with Smartli

When I made my store I thought I’d try a free trial with Smartli as it was a suggested App, a few minutes later I was charged £520 for their Premium Yearly subscription (Definitely not what I signed up for)

I immediately contacted Smartli and spoke to an advisor, I cancelled my membership and requested a refund as I haven’t used their services, nor was I aware I ever clicked on a yearly subscription.

Smartli 2 days later have responded “We’re sorry, we can’t refund yearly subscriptions, see our terms”

This amount of money they’ve taken would take me months to recover, I won’t be able to use their services as it didn’t sync with what I needed, nor would I want any further interaction with their company. Has anyone had a similar problem with Smartli? I cannot see how it’s justified to refuse a payment a customer didn’t know they made, nor has the customer used any of their services.

They are con artists they did the same thing with me. They need to be shut down, I am reporting them to all platforms that is needed to be contacted so they can stop doing this. Can’t believe this company,they are major scam artists and needs to be stopped before more people get ripped off.
