Hey everyone,
I’ve been meaning to write something here for a while not because I have everything figured out, but because sometimes it helps to hear from someone who’s still figuring it out too.
I started print on demand with a lot of excitement and a little fear, if I’m being honest. There’s so much to take in at the beginning… picking designs, choosing a supplier, setting up a store, trying to make everything look good. It felt like a lot. I made mistakes. I second guessed myself a lot. And honestly? I still do.
But a few small things have helped me keep going:
-
Letting go of perfection. I spent so much time trying to make my store “look right” before launching. In the end, nothing teaches you more than just starting.
-
Simple things work. Some of my best feedback came from designs I almost didn’t post because they felt “too plain.” But they meant something to someone and that’s what matters.
-
Slow is okay. It’s hard not to compare yourself when you see others posting wins. But everyone’s path is different. Sometimes just making one sale, or learning one new thing, is a win.
-
This community helps. Even just reading posts when I was feeling stuck made a difference. Knowing I wasn’t the only one having doubts helped me stay in the game.
I’m still on the way. Still learning. Still trying to find what works and what doesn’t. But I wanted to share this because maybe someone else out there is in the same place wondering if it’s worth it, or if they’re doing it “right.”
If that’s you: you’re not alone. Keep showing up. Keep learning. It adds up.
Thanks for reading.
